Knowing your community is not simply about learning relevant statistics and attributes. Of course, you need to be acquainted with those matters, but there is something much more profound that you should do: something that makes your knowledge intensely powerful and significant. You must know your community from your personal experience: the experience of your own life.

That is not achieved simply by walking with, living with, celebrating with, your community, although you must do that, as well.

Knowing your community from the inside out is about knowing yourself in relation to the experience of your community.

It takes a little effort but creates big rewards.

One of the most useful aspects of Infra Language is that it provides a powerful framework for understanding, both yourself and your community. Once you analyze your community using the Infra Language modes, you must analyze yourself and find the common ground.

Communities are complex.

It doesn’t matter whether you are talking about the local tennis club or a national community of people involved in political activism. But, the Infra Language modes will show you the key characteristics and their relationship with each other.

Similarly, people are complex. Maybe, you believe you are an ordinary person, just like so many others. But, what makes you different is knowing the Infra Language modes. That will give you a great insight into who you are and how you operate.

So, what do you have to do?
